FF is a proactive organization. FF's corporate strategy is diversified portfolio. Pursuant to this strategy FF has interests in different industrial sectors such as Fertilizer, Gas exploration, Cement, Food, Oil & Gas Distribution and Power sector. Investment Division of FF is assigned the role of looking at new investments besides ensuring optimality in the existing investments.


Q-2 investment opportunities are available with FF?


FF is poised towards constantly gathering, reviewing and analyzing the micro & macro economic situation to explore and capitalize the potential investment opportunities nationally and internationally. At present FF is currently partaking in joint venture / equity investments in Pakistan and abroad.


Q-3 What investment incentives Pakistan offer to the foreign investors?


The Government of Pakistan now has a very conducive investment policy which opens all economic sectors to Foreign Direct Investment (FDI); equal treatment to local and foreign investors; 100% foreign equity allowed; no Government sanction required; tax treaties / investment treaties with most of the countries are in place, remittance of royalty, Free Technical Services (FTS), capital and profits/dividends allowed. Foreign investments in Pakistan are fully protected under Foreign Private Investment (Promotion and Protection) Act 1976, Protection of Economic Reforms Act, 1992 and Foreign Currency Accounts (Protection) Ordinance 2001.
