FOUNDATION INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (Vocational)

A total of 62 Foundation Institute of Technology (Voc) are located throughout Pakistan in Punjab, KPK, Balochistan, Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir imparting vocational skills to the wives and daughters of ex-servicemen and Shaheeds of Pakistan Armed Forces.

Curriculum:

A comprehensive curriculum based on international syllabi of vocational studies has been designed including a well planned practical training pattern under the close guidance of expert Instructional staff.

The procedure of training not only explores the hidden skills of the individuals but also enhances and refines them to be utilized professionally wherever required.

The students are also polished in personality grooming and general education with a view to get them started for a successful practical life.

3 Years DDM Program has been planned with effect from Sep 2019 at 06 X Locations which are Karachi, Multan, Faisalabad, Gujarat, Sargodha, and Muzaffarabad under provincial TEVTAs/ Board of Technical Education.

Short Courses:

These courses vary from 1 month to 3 months duration and are offered as Basic to Advance disciplines. The Courses are:- Beautician, Computer skills, Cooking & Baking, Spoken English, Basic English Grammar, DCT, Hand & Machine Embroidery, Fashion Designing, Fabric Designing including (Tie & Dye, Fabric Painting, Block Print) Ribbon Embroidery, Flower Making, Ceramic Work, Crochet Work, Art & Craft, Tarkashi, Home Décor, Jute Work, Foil Work, Leather Work, Batik Work and Italian Dough etc.

Stipend and Other Assistance:

Approximately Rs. 28.78 M is being paid annually to the beneficiary trainees as following:
